The CEED Vocational Centre empowers young women to fulfil their potential by equipping them with life essential skills.
Life for women in Ghana is still tough. Though women were given equal rights under the Constitution of Ghana, visible disparities in health, education and employment still exist. Women in Ghana have less access to resources than men.
All women are born with great potential but obvious barriers such as poverty, deprivation, exclusion, disease, discouragement, and limited opportunities cause barriers for women in Ghana to achieve their full potential.
The CEED Vocational Centre empowers young women to fulfil their potential by equipping them with skills in Fashion Design & Garment Construction, Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy and Hospitality Management. The vision of the centre is to see women empowered by skilled training to be economically and socially independent and secure, enabling them to contribute to the development of society. The overall outcome is to see young women empowered economically with employable skills.
Each year we support these young women by investing into the day to day running of the CEED Vocational Centre.
