Youth Fundraiser

In June, Flipt Youth from Otumoetai Baptist Church, Tauranga, hosted a Mid-Winter Christmas Quiz Night to raise funds for 40 care packs for children who will be attending the new International Needs Kamalapur Railway Station Drop-in Centre, Bangladesh. These children, unfortunately, don't attend school but work everyday to help provide for themselves and their families. At the Drop-in Centre the children come for two hours a day for a meal, shower, education, counselling, gospel teaching and a chance to play like children. They can take a break from their long working day to learn and play.

Flipt Youth ran and hosted the quiz event and what a special event it was - filled with laughter, fun and competition. Together with family, friends, church members and community members over $2,700 was raised.

Thank you, Flipt Youth, for your hard work, passion, and dedication in making the night a special night for all who attended. Thank you for helping to bring joy and relief to these children and youth in child labour.
