How children at Sano Diyo are sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with community children
A program started by the girls at the Sano Diyo home is reaching community children in a way that might not be possible if adults had started it! And through your support you are part of God’s work in these community children!
Each Saturday, 30 - 50 children from the slum area gather in the yard at Sano Diyo (“Little Lighthouse”) for Share and Care.
This fun time is led by girls at the Sano Diyo home and is their special way of reaching out to the community and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Each Saturday morning the children eat a healthy breakfast together, share stories about Jesus Christ, and sing their little hearts out!
This outreach is a wonderful relationship builder - now when Prasanna and Arpana Khaling or any of the Sano Diyo girls are walking down the road, community children run out to talk with them, and share what’s going on in their life!
God is working in these community children and it can be heard in the joy of their singing each Saturday morning.
A mother of one of these children recently shared,
“Each morning when my son gets up he asks if it is Saturday that day.”
Comments like this from parents who are not Christians themselves mean so much. They show how when people shine for Jesus where they are, He helps reach even those who are not yet Christians.
